I was happy to get the books that have been gently used for my book box in front of our school!
I purchased the "Ages 12 and under" bundle and I would say that all but one book I received were for age 8 and under (which works fine for me because most of the children who visit my library are ages 4-8, but is worth noting for those who may get a lot of visits from the ages 9-12 crowd). Many of the books were in very good condition and two were like new, but two were water damaged (one very noticeably)- though no signs of mold so that's good. A few were educational books (the kind used in a classroom curriculum) that I don't think most kids would be picking to read for fun. One book was from 1999 with pages very stiff and yellowed from age. I recieved a "Magic School Bus" book that I thought would be a big hit but noticed it's from Canada with temperatures listed in Celsius, that's going to be very confusing for a kid in the US so I many not put it in the library. Overall, this was okay but I likely wouldn't purchase another box.
I ordered 70 children's and y/a books, a 30 and a 40 box, so I can't help with one versus the other. I can say that there were enough books to fill both shelves of the pictures little free library. I can say that this was a nice mix, some from series, which would have required hours to find individually. Here, I am testing these used books with new titles to see what happens.
Received our 1st shipment of books from LFL for age 12 & Under & what an amazing assortment! So happy I decided to try this subscription as it truly is a great bundle for the price to help keep our libraries stocked...so looking forward to our next shipment!!
My LFL is a hot spot. Registered less than a year ago, books are flying out of here! All ages, especially children. This batch of books were fabulous and have proven to be a great purchase for my LFL.!

This is not my first buy of a book bundle. I have little free libraries in my neighborhood park and the book bundles are a reliable source for me to get books! Keep up the good work!
For the most part, the book boxes are helpful. However, I now have a deep stack of Christmas books and few books for the summer. Also, I have received several books that are too large for our little free library. I know it is a lot of work to gather these books. I appreciate the work that goes into finding free and inexpensive children's books. It would be helpful, though, if fewer specific holiday books were included. Thank you.
My library is in a shore resort town. I've noticed there isn't a large turnover of books for children. The ones I've received are "ok" but I would have preferred not to have included in them " Holiday Theme " books.
The Early Learners and parents are having a great time choosing what books to read. Excellent book choices made. Books arrived on time and in good condition.
Loved all the books in my box. This is a great way to buy children’s books at a wonderful price. The books were all excellent and made a wonderful addition to my Little Free Library. I just ended a “Kid’s Book Week”. I had nothing but kids book in the library.
I LOVE these children's book-boxes for our LFL. Excellent variety--from pre-school to adolescents.
We have no children from which to recycle books, so I depend on donations (alas, few children's books left on our porch) OR these book bundles offered at a great price.
We have a small children's section in our LFL, as I want neighborhood children to always have books and fall in love with reading. These book boxes are a godsend; I will keep buying them when offered.
The book bundles are consistently excellent. They always contain a few old favorites and a few topical books for children, such as a biography of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. I work hard to keep children's books in stock for my LFL, and when I have to purchase books I am never disappointed. Well worth the price. Thank you!
