The floral embroidery on this iron-on patch is original artwork by Anishinaabe artist Sarah Agaton Howes, and all proceeds from this tote bag support our Indigenous Library Program, which aims to work with Indigenous community leaders and members to place book exchanges in locations where book access is important to improving literacy.

  1. Prepare Garment For Press: Lay the garment onto an ironing board. Make sure the area you'd like to press your patch is wrinkle free before placing the patch down. 
  2. Position The Patch: Place the patch onto the garment in its desired location. Secure it onto the garment by taping it down with your two strips of Thermal Tape 
  3. Flip Garment, Press For 20-25 Seconds: Flip the garment over so that the patch is face down and touching the ironing board. Grab your iron and press for 20-25 seconds at MAX temperature with firm pressure.
  4. Flip the garment to its frontside and allow it to cool for at least 30 seconds.
